To the editor:
The Herald-Zeitung has provided a great service to the residents of Oak Run and to the community at large by publishing these stories on the attempt to close off the walkway connecting the subdivision and OakRun School. The planning and zoning commission only provided notice to the immediate property owners, and the alleged “neighborhood association” refused to get involved for the simple reason that it is controlled by the developer (who seeks to close off the walkway). Many of us attempted to spread the word on our own, but we really appreciate the newspaper’s assistance.
